Linkly Pricing: 100% Free. That's the Whole List.
No credit card, no premium tier, no click caps, no watermarks, no ads. Every Linkly feature — shortening, custom aliases, click analytics, password-protected links, expiring URLs and QR codes — is included for everyone, free.
The price
Zero. One service, one price: free. What that includes, in full:
- Unlimited short links, no click cap on any of them
- Custom aliases (3–20 characters)
- Click analytics: per-link counts plus device, browser, OS and language per click
- Password-protected links (server-side check, destination never exposed)
- Expiring URLs that stop working on schedule
- QR codes for every link, 512×512 PNG download, no watermark
- Projects, dashboard management and CSV export
- HTTPS and true server-side 302 redirects on every link
What you will not be charged for
The usual ways free link shorteners earn their money do not apply here: no premium tier to unlock analytics, no paid add-on for QR codes, no watermark until you upgrade, no "business plan" for custom domains' worth of features, no trial that quietly expires. If a feature exists in the product, it is available when you use the product.
How does a free shortener stay free?
By staying lean. Linkly runs a small, focused product — short links, redirects, QR, analytics — on lean infrastructure, with no sales team and no upsell funnel to fund. The click-log records are deliberately slim (a hashed IP and a few parsed fields, never raw request data), which keeps the cost of tracking low at any volume. That is the whole business model in one sentence: a small product, run small, given away.
Compared to the usual "free" tier
| Linkly | Typical "free tier" shortener | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free, no card | Free until a feature you need is paywalled |
| Click cap | None | Often metered on the free tier |
| Analytics | Included | Frequently the paid feature |
| QR codes | Included, no watermark | Often paid or watermarked |
| Upgrades | Nothing to buy | Tier ladder to migrate onto |
The column on the right describes the pattern, not any specific product — check the current terms of whichever service you are comparing, because free tiers change.

Shorten a link — freePricing FAQ
Is Linkly really completely free?
Yes. There is no free plan, trial, credit card, watermark or click cap — there is just one service, and it is free. Every feature on the features page is included for every user.
Are there hidden limits?
No click limit and no metered free tier. Rate limits exist only to stop abuse of the shorten endpoint (for example, automated bulk shortening) — normal human and campaign use is unaffected.
Will there be a paid tier later?
There is no paid tier today and nothing announced. If that ever changes, existing links and data stay usable; today the honest answer is simply: everything is free.
Do I need to pay to remove an account requirement?
There is nothing to remove — shortening, custom aliases, passwords, expirations and QR codes all work without any account at all. An account is optional and free.
